Whatever is there in buddhism is logical, and if its not logical, its not buddhism. Buddha's dhamma is not about god or soul, or about life after death or about rituals. The basic postulates of buddha shift focus of religion from supernatural to man, and from divine good to good felt by the person. The basic postulates are:
1. The center of dhamma is man, and the relation between man and man in his life on earth.
2. There is a lot of miseries, poverty and sufferings in this world and it is the sole task of dhamma to remove these sufferings, and if dhamma does not undertake such tasks, it is no dhamma at all.
3. All sufferings, miseries and conflicts can be ceased and continue to remain ceased if one follows the path of purity, path of righteousness and the path of virtue.
